ESPECIALLY FOR SONS AND THEIR DADS
Spend an exciting 'Father - Son' day together, climbing obstacles and swinging through the trees at Go Ape! Cheshire.
Go Ape! is a ‘high-wire forest adventure’ with giant obstacle courses up in the trees consisting of ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire.
The Go Ape! staff will kit you out with harnesses, pulleys and karabiners, provide you with 30 minutes of safety briefing/training, before letting you loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees on the country's best zip lines*.
The result is spectacular. The Go Ape! experience gets the adrenalin pumping, it will get you out of your comfort zones and above all, it’s just great fun.
*Instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please arrive at 10:30am in order to start the course at 11am - it can take up to 15 minutes to get from the car park to the course. If you are late, we will miss our slot and may not be able to participate. Depending on numbers, we may have to split the group into two and stagger the starting time by 30 minutes.
Please wear clothing suitable for outdoor activity. You will be provided with helmets and safety equipment.
Don't forget to eat a hearty breakfast before you come!! There is a cafe on site should you need any snacks.
Car parking is not included and will cost between £3 to £4, please come prepared.
DETAILED DIRECTIONS
To get to Delamere Forest, please head for Delamere train station which is on station road. Go Ape is signposted from here and is only two minutes away. Follow the signs for Linmere Visitor Centre and , once parked, walk back towards the railway station, turn left over the railway bridge, and you will see the Go Ape cabin.
SatNav users please navigate to "Delamere Railway Station", which is at the end of our road. Follow the signs from the station to the course.
Go Ape locations are now available on Garmin SatNav systems as a Point of Interest.
Please do not rely on google maps for directions.
Public Transport:
By Train - the nearest railway station is at Delamere Station which is approximately a 4 minute walk from Go Ape Delamere. Hourly trains run to Delamere from:
- Manchester – 1hour
- Liverpool – 1 ¼ hours
- Chester – 15mins
- Crewe – 50 mins
Please allow plenty of time for your journey. At busy times it can take at least 20 minutes to get from the car park to the Go Ape cabin.
